Phil started working for his father-in-law, Jim Lewis, in 1982. He and his wife, Sharlyn, purchased the store from Jim in 1994. Though Phil is retired, he still visits the store occasionally.

Eric joined Jim Lewis Tire as a mechanic in 1993. He was promoted to service writer in 1996 when Jim retired.
